Police: Man wielded machete in Louisiana road rage incident

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Police in Louisiana have arrested a man accused of brandishing a machete during a road rage incident that was captured on video and posted to social media. News outlets report that Lafayette police charged 21-year-old Andrew Bollinger with aggravated assault on Thursday, about one week after video of the alleged confrontation appeared online. Sgt. Wayne Griffin said officers were called to a roadway May 13 and a witness turned over a video allegedly showing Bollinger exit his vehicle while holding a machete, approach the passenger side window of another car and yell at the driver. Griffin said Bollinger saw himself in the video and surrendered.
